Lecturing
Ronald is an experienced lecturer, capable of giving talks about plants and their uses in English (and Dutch).

The topics that Ronald usually talks about during lectures are plant sortiment, plant variety rights and patents and themed talks such as 'Hydrangea paniculata and cultivars', 'Perovskia trials' and 'David Douglas and Colorado'
​
Due to climate change the growing conditions, plant range for nurseries and possible applications change too. As an expert in this field, Ronald also provides lectures on topics such as plants for climate change and plants and biodiversity. Some subject examples of this are 'Plants for a Greener Future' and 'Evolution and Revolution in Garden Plants'.

In the past, he has given talks in the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and USA.
